[T H E W O R L D O N T H E S C R E E N]
I’ve never been a fan of the internet
It gives you a wall, a bar to censor your head
So you hide in the bushes of anonymity
And light up an explosive that ends in calamity
Like birds dropping dead from the sky
I watch user after user, friend after friend, saying goodbye
But if it’s just numbers on a screen
Whatever could it mean?
There’s a tiny green square in the middle of the world wide web
That I like to call the kingdom I rule
Inside is filled with words, numbers, a chat
all these 1’s and 0’s thrown into a pool
For 5 years the castle has been standing strong
I’m the only one fighting but I’m carrying on
The peasants might riot, cry and scream
But I rule this world, the world on the screen
